Service Description

Receive expert guidance and support on newborn care from a Mother/Baby Registered Nurse. Learn essential newborn care practices and gain confidence in nurturing your new baby. Diapering, cord care, swaddling, holding, burping, circumcision care, safe sleep, changing and bathing are some of the essential newborn care topics reviewed during the Newborn Care Consultation. Postpartum support also provided. Instructions for perineal care, c-section incision care, breast care and management of engorgement for nursing or non-nursing.
